City Elite Development Squad winger Emilio Lawrence is confident the team can carry our Premier League 2 winning form into our UEFA Youth League trip after a clinical 4-1 win over Aston Villa on Friday evening.
Goals from Lawrence, Farid Alfa-Ruprecht, Will Dickson and Justin Oboavwoduo helped City earn a fourth successive league win which puts us third in the table.
And despite City’s 4-2 loss to Inter Milan in between the run of form, Lawrence believes him and his team-mates can put on a similar performance at Slovan Bratislava on Tuesday 1 October.

“We are definitely looking forward to it,” began Lawrence.
“These are the games you most look forward to, the trips away in the Youth League. It’s a special competition so we’re definitely looking to get another big win and keep on moving forward.”
