Watch the extensive highlights from City's 4-1 win over Manchester United in our latest Under-18 Premier League North derby.

Farid Alfa-Ruprecht gave City the lead on 18 minutes after the winger had a bright spell in the first half.

He wasn’t the only player in Ben Wilkinson‘s side to have a positive opening 45 minutes. City dominated possession and when out of it, had a unified high and intense press that United couldn’t combat.

City were unfortunate not to be further ahead come the interval with Justin Oboavwoduo, Jaden Heskey and Luca Fletcher all seeing chances go narrowly wide.

The boys in blue continued to increase the intensity in the second half and were straight out the blocks when the remaining 45 minutes began.

Four minutes in Ashton Muir doubled City’s lead while United struggled to gather momentum.

Alfa-Ruprecht’s low and forceful strike on 66 minutes put City in the driving seat before a Jaydan Kamason own-goal made it four.

Ethan Williams scored a late consolation for United, their only positive to take from their first least defeat of the campaign.
