The inside story of Manchester City’s 2019/20 FA Youth Cup triumph will be told in a new documentary that will be available to watch exclusively on CITY+.

Two Games to Glory is the latest offering from CityTV Productions and will lift the lid on the final stages of City Under-18s’ quest for success.

Featuring behind the scenes footage of training sessions and team meetings, as well as interviews with the players and staff who made victory possible, the documentary follows the squad from the semi-final stage onwards.

We booked our place in the last four back in March, but the COVID-19 pandemic saw the competition postponed and when it resumed seven months later at the start of the 2020/21 season, it was in a tournament style format which saw us play two games in four days at St George’s Park.

Two Games to Glory takes viewers on the players’ journey, beginning in the week leading up to the emphatic semi-final victory over Blackburn Rovers and finishing with reaction to our hard fought win over Chelsea in the final, which saw us lift the FA Youth Cup for the first time in 12-years.
