Watch as City's Under-18s lifted the FA Youth Cup trophy at the Joie Stadium after a 2-1 win over Manchester United.

Fighting for the most prestigious trophy in youth football, the Joie Stadium played host to an all-Manchester final.

The two best teams in the Under-18 Premier League North showcased fantastic football throughout, with it difficult to separate the two sides.

However, City looked the brightest throughout, with Oliver Reiss’ side rewarded with the breakthrough on 40 minutes. A perfectly executed 25-yard free-kick from Floyd Samba nestled into the top-left corner.

United, however, had an instant response through Godwill Kukonki who headed home two minutes later.

With all to play for in the second half, both sides had chances to find a second. But it wouldn’t come until the 87th minute when Reigan Heskey fired home a rocket from the left-hand side of the United box to send the Joie Stadium faithful wild.

Our young Blues celebrated the Club’s fifth FA Youth Cup triumph with our fans at full-time.
