The 17-year-old midfielder featured for 71 minutes of last season’s heart-breaking 3-1 FA Youth Cup final defeat to Aston Villa.
But this term, Miles played every minute in City’s engine room, helping the Blues claim a memorable victory this time around with a 2-1 triumph over Manchester United at the Joie Stadium.
Floyd Samba opened up the scoring on 40 minutes with a sublime 25-yard free-kick which flew into the top left corner.

But Godwill Kukonki headed United level just two minutes later which meant it was all to play for in the second half.
City showed composure, class and determination to succeed. And our hard work was rewarded on 87 minutes when Reigan Heskey fired home from close range.
And for Miles, it’s a night he won’t forget.
“I’m lost for words,” began the England youth international.
“In all my interviews I’ve said that it feels so nice to get across the line, get that win, especially from the hurt last year.
“A lot of us definitely wanted to put that right and we did that today. That was a great achievement I feel.
“The atmosphere was good, both fans definitely brought it [the energy] today and I just want to say thank you to the fans.”
