A goal-frenzy first half saw our U18s run out comfortable 5-0 winners over Stoke City in the U18 Premier League, seeing us go level with Blackburn Rovers at the top of the table.
Adedire Mebude opened the scoring within five minutes, thrashing the ball into the roof of the net, before the winger set up Will Dickson for City’s second just two minutes later.
Micah Hamilton made it three after 17 minutes before Mebude grabbed his second, tapping home Luca Barrington‘s cross.
And Mebude would return the favour, when his shot was brilliantly saved onto the post by the Stoke keeper, but it rebounded into Barrington’s path to tap home City’s fifth before the half-time whistle.
