After a fruitless first-half where City failed to convert their chances, the U18s found their scoring touch in some style as we ran out 4-0 winners over our closest title rivals.
Adedire Mebude opened the scoring when his left footed effort flew underneath the Rovers keeper, before Carlos Borges capitalised on a defensive error from Blackburn to double our lead shortly afterwards.
With ten minutes to go, Mo Susoho lashed home our third before a stoppage time fourth from Will Dickson rounded off a wonderful afternoon for Ben Wilkinson‘s side.
The result saw us climb three points clear of the Lancashire side on a decisive day in the race for the U18 Premier League North title.
