Manchester City Under 18s’ secured qualification to the quarter-finals of the U18 Premier League Cup thanks to a 2-0 win over Liverpool.
City took the lead with just five minutes gone thanks to a strike from Will Dickson, and we were able to double our lead after the break when Liam Smith finished a wonderfully worked move orchestrated by Nico O’Reilly.
The victory ensured that Ben Wilkinson‘s side will progress to the quarter-finals of the U18 Premier League Cup as group winners.
