After winning it in 2020/21 and 2021/22, Brian Barry-Murphy’s team moved back to the summit of this season’s table.
After starting the day two points behind Chelsea, we’re now one point ahead of the Blues but with two games in hand.
The win also ensured a double this season over our neighbours, after a 6-1 victory in November 2022 at Leigh Sports Village.
We’re back in action on Monday 3 April as we travel to Tottenham Hotspur for a 19:00 (UK) kick-off.
