City never stopped in the pursuit for the victory though and deep into stoppage time claimed a dramatic winner.
As a cross was floated in, Nico O’Reilly attempted the scorpion kick, and the ball flew past Shea Connor, and into the net to secure all three points for City in the dying embers of the match.
