City travel to Villa Park for a 15:00 (UK) kick-off later today as we look to earn back-to-back titles for the first time in the Club’s history.
But before the prospect of a trophy lift, captain Braithwaite explained how him and the team have been working hard in training ahead of what they anticipate to be one of the most difficult fixtures of the campaign.
And he believes the team’s togetherness will help City come through with a positive performance.

“I think they’ll have good players, players who can win them games,” began Braithwaite.
“So I think we need to be good defensively. I also think they’ll be quite aggressive. So we just need to battle twice as hard and I think we’ll be fine.
“It’s a great test to see where we’re at in our journeys. I think from how much we’ve matured as a team and what we need to improve on heading into next season.
“But I think it will be a great challenge for us.
“We stick together as a team. Especially the back line, we know each other a lot and we know what each other is going to do and it’s a great thing to be a part of,” Braithwaite continued.
“Our communication is good and I think we’ve become a team within a team.”
The game will be shown live in the UK on the FA Player and the official Emirates FA Cup Youtube channel.
