A brace from Reigan Heskey, boosted by strikes from Dante Headley and Matty Warhurst cancelled out George Morgan’s late penalty in our 4-1 win on Saturday afternoon.
And the England youth international attributed the 10th successive league triumph to the team being motivated by keeping our momentum but also the coaching staff who made sure the team were in peak condition after a month of no competitive football over the festive period.
“I think if you have a break and you start again it’s important to win the first game,” began Noble.

“But also because we’ve got Millwall [next week] it was even more important.
“So it was a great win and hopefully it continues!
“I think [our performance was a result of] how the staff have prepared us since we came back [from the Christmas break].
“They made us run! We did all the basics. We don’t really drop off. We need to keep this going into the FA Youth Cup and the rest of the season.”
