Kick-off at Vicarage Road is scheduled for 19:00 (UK) with the winner to go on and face Aston Villa in the showpiece final next month.
City’s fight to try to retain the prestigious trophy for a second successive season has been going according to plan for Oliver Reiss’ Under-18s.
Wins over Crystal Palace, Millwall, Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion has included 16 goals scored and just two conceded en route to the final four.
18-year-old Noble has been a mainstay in those games, playing every minute of the four fixtures. Merging this season’s experience with his involvement in our FA Youth Cup final win at the Etihad last term, it’s fair to say the England youth international is ready for our latest cup contest.
“I think it’s going to be a different task, a different challenge,” began Noble.
HOW CAN I WATCH WATFORD V CITY ON TV?
“If you look at last season against Bristol [City] here [at the Joie Stadium] it was a tough game and it came up to the last like 10 minutes until we scored.
“So we’ve got that experience [in cup competitions] of how to win matches and I think that’s the key [for us].
“It’s [Vicarage Road] a great stadium with lots of history and good memories for me personally. So I’m looking forward to it and I’m looking forward to the game and the atmosphere.
“I think they’re going to have quite a few fans in and we are hoping to have a few City fans there too so I’m really looking forward to it and hopefully we get through to the next round.
“It would mean everything [to make the final]. It’s the goal we set at the start of the season - to be in the position we are in right now.
“Obviously, we have to get past Watford first, that’s clear, but getting to the final would mean a lot and winning it would mean even more.”
