Ben Wilkinson’s youngsters are back in European action at the Joie Stadium in a game that will be televised live on CITY+ (15.00pm UK).
Last time out in Europe, City recorded an emphatic 4-0 win away to Slovan Bratislava as we bounced back in fine style from a loss to Internazionale in our opening clash.
And looking ahead to our latest game, Samuel said the squad were determined to seek to build on that fine display to help further boost our hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages.
“Playing in the UEFA Youth League is an amazing experience, and Wednesday should be an exciting game for the team,” the defender said.

“We controlled the game from the start in Bratislava and hopefully we can carry on that momentum and the form we have shown here in PL2.
“You want to be playing the best teams in the best tournaments so if we can maintain our winning streak it will be beneficial for us.”
