Watch as City Studios visit Callum Doyle during his 2024/25 loan spell at Norwich City to see how his game is developing in the Championship.

Going out on loan to gain minutes in senior football is extremely important in a player’s development.

And for 21-year-old Doyle, who is on the fourth loan spell of his career to date, the aspiring defender is reaping the rewards with aspects of his game hitting new heights.

A versatile player for Norwich Head Coach Johannes Hoff Thorup, Doyle approached the season looking to tally more goal contributions.

After six assists and his first Championship goal since joining the Canaries on loan in the summer, Doyle has already been involved in more goals than in any of his previous campaigns on loan at Sunderland, Coventry City and Leicester.

And with a third of the season still left to play, Doyle is also hoping to help Norwich in their quest to return to the Premier League before the curtain falls on the campaign.

From spending time with Doyle at the Avant Training Centre in East Anglia to catching up over a coffee and a walk in a local park, Doyle shows what his life is like away from Manchester.

Then, we followed the City defender during Norwich’s home game against Plymouth Argyle back in November, capturing all of the action during a dominant 6-1 win.
