Manchester City U18s are through to the FA Youth Cup semi-finals after a hard fought 1-0 win over Burnley at the Academy Stadium.
Liam Delap was the match winner, firing home midway through the second half to set up a last four tie with either Arsenal or Blackburn.
Against a physical Burnley outfit, Gareth Taylor’s side were made to work hard for the victory despite creating a host of chances.
However, striker Delap made the crucial breakthrough with a cool, calm finish after some fine work approach by Morgan Rogers to ensure City’s cup campaign continued.
