City's Under-19s and coaching staff gathered on Friday afternoon to watch the UEFA Youth League Round of 16 draw and see who we would face.
City were drawn against Hoffenheim with our trip to Germany to be played on Wednesday 5 March, with kick-off scheduled for 13:00 (UK).
Our potential route to the final was also revealed in Friday’s draw. If Ben Wilkinson’s side overcome the German outfit, City will face either Real Madrid or AZ Alkmaar in the quarter-final.
It was clear from the reactions from our Elite Development Squad and Under-18s, who all gathered at the City Football Academy, that another exciting trip to Europe was a pleasing draw.
After the draw took place, we caught up with defenders Lakyle Samuel, Max Alleyne and Lead Coach Wilkinson to get their initial reactions to the draw.
