Watch the best of the action as Manchester City’s Under-19s beat Red Star Belgrade 5-2 in our first UEFA Youth League game of the season.

Brian Barry-Murphy’s side welcomed the Serbian team to the Joie Stadium on Tuesday afternoon and they were met with the typical Manchester rain.

But that didn’t stop City from showing our prowess in front of goal.

Will Dickson added his name to the scoresheet in the 47th minute as we continued to dominate possession, leaving Red Star reliant on counterattacks.

Eight minutes later midfielder Kane Taylor produced a fine goal, scoring directly from a corner kick to extend City’s lead to four.

Red Star briefly closed the gap with goals from Jovan Mijatovic and substitute Mateja Bunaji making it 4-2 with 10 minutes remaining.

Substitute Jaden Heskey, however, scored his first goal in the competition to seal what was an emphatic win.
