City made a vibrant start to the match, as only two minutes into the contest, some good play down the left-hand side led to a ball being played across the box and it fell to Joel Ndala at the back post who clinically tapped in.
Though the end of the first half didn’t live up to expectations, Ben Wilkinson’s side did superably by replicating their fast start in the first, as Oboavwoduo was played through, he sent the keeper the wrong way and placed the ball to double the advantage.
City were in the ascendancy after the second, as Ndala, who was another star player in the match, dribbled into the Rams box, he skipped past numerous challenges before slotting in his brace to put a strong foothold on the match.
Three minutes later, the hosts were causing the visitors more trouble, as Whittingham latched onto a defence splitting pass before avoiding a challenge from the keeper and squeezed the ball into the net from a tight angle, as City ran out victors at the City Football Academy.
