There were joyous scenes at the Etihad as Manchester City lifted the 2024 FA Youth Cup thanks to a superb 4-0 win over Leeds United in Friday’s final.
Ben Wilkinson’s side were in irresistible form in a superb second half showing as goals from Justin Oboavwoduo, Jaden Heskey, Stephen Mfuni and Matty Warhurst secured what was the Club’s fourth FA Youth Cup success.
Amidst joyous post-match scenes, skipper Jahmai Simpson-Pusey then lifted the famous trophy alongside his team-mates to the acclaim of the City staff and a bumper Etihad crowd who had turned out to watch the action.
That then sparked long and loud post-match celebrations as City celebrated another season to remember.
