Justin Oboavwoduo fired the City youngsters into a deserved 20th minute lead but Oxford made life tough as they sought to deny us time and space.
However, our pressure and dominance was rewarded after the break by two goals in three minutes from Will Dickson who extended his fine run of form in the FA Youth Cup by maintaining his record of scoring in every round.
