The League Two side were physically strong and organised and a terrific test for the young Blues.
Brian Barry-Murphy‘s side impressed for long periods, playing the ball from back to front with a calmness and precision that is in the Manchester City DNA.
Though the Stags edged the game with a late winner, there is much to admire from this performance as this exciting crop of youngsters battle to the end.
