City Under-18s goalkeeper Max Hudson says he and the team are looking forward to our final game of 2025/26.

Oliver Reiss’ youngsters take on South title winners Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Friday 22 May, with kick-off set for 19:00 (UK), as the two best teams in the country go head-to-head for the National title.

The game will be available to watch live on mancity.com and the Official Man City App for fans with a CITY+ subscription alongside our Matchday Centre which will begin 90 minutes prior to kick-off.

City will be looking to make it three wins from three against the London outfit this term. Our first encounter with Chelsea saw our Blues wins 3-2 at the City Football Academy in our Under-18 Premier League Cup group stage meeting.

The second was a 4-1 FA Youth Cup triumph at Kingsmeadow in the fifth before City went on to win the prestigious trophy with a 2-1 win over Manchester United.

It was after that win over our cross-city rivals at the Joie Stadium Hudson provided his immediate thoughts and feelings on what it was like to become an FA Youth Cup winner before expressing how much he and the team are already looking forward to our final game of the campaign.

“We are really excited and we are really driven. Two trophies is amazing but there is three so let’s go for three,” said Hudson.

“Chelsea will have watched our game [against United]. They’ll be worried, won’t want to face us with the way we have been playing recently.

“We had a good result there in the FA Youth Cup too. We are really looking forward to it. “
