Justin Oboavwoduo admits playing at the Etihad was a 'dream come true' after his brace fired City to a third successive Under-18 Premier League National title.

The forward struck with 13 to play to level the scores against southern champions West Ham United, and would repeat the trick in extra time to retain the title.

Oboavwoduo’s crucial contribution took his tally for the season to 18 goals - the joint-highest return of any forward at U18 Premier League level.

And having been on the books at City since the age of six, the young attacker expressed his personal pride at reaching the latest milestone in his nascent career.

Speaking to Matchday Live’s Mike Minay after the match, he said: “It’s great playing in this stadium.

“I’ve dreamt of it since I being here when I was six.

“I dreamt of being here when I was a ball boy as a little kid, so to be able to play here and to score two goals was unbelievable.

“Hopefully [I will play here] many more times in the future.”
