The Joie Stadium played host to our first league game of 2026/27 on Monday night.
First-half goals from Kylan Midwood, Tyrone Samba and Floyd Samba quickly put our young blues in the driving seat.
Xavier Parker topped off a clinical evening and was followed by an equally pleasing clean sheet to provide the perfect start to our league campaign, all aspects that impressed the boss.
“I’m very impressed,” began Reiss when asked for his thoughts on the win over Wolves.
“We talked about this before the game, in our first proper game against Mansfield we were very good in so many areas. Especially in terms of the way we defended.
“And we wanted to increase the quality of the performance in terms of our reaction after losing [the ball] and in possession especially.
“And we were very good in this I think. A well-deserved win today. I’m happy with the four goals of course and I’m very very happy with the clean sheet.”
