We had chances of our own after that, with Christian Dunbar-McDonald and Tyrone Samba both going close.
However, Porto doubled their lead just before the break when winger Mateus Mide broke through to round Chabot and roll home.
Teddie Lamb gave us hope with a brilliant finish with 20 minutes to go, but the result was sealed when Tcherno Jamanca got Porto’s third.
