But the hosts responded midway through the second half from the penalty spot, with Xavi Simons sending Cieran Slicker the wrong way after Finley Burns was judged to have brought down Djeidi Gassama inside the area.

Burns was given his marching orders for the foul, and things soon went from bad to worse as City were another man down just 12 minutes later when Charles was shown a second yellow for a late challenge on Simons.

Despite PSG holding a two-man advantage, our EDS did enough to frustrate the hosts and hold on for a share of the spoils, with the result ensuring we remained top of Group A with four points from our first two matches.
