After getting a flavour for Under-21s football over the past two seasons, Heskey has been a constant figure for our EDS in 2025/26.

He’s made 13 league appearances so far and boasts an impressive four goals and six assists so far.

And across the total 33 matches across seven competitions, he’s had an even more eye-catching 22 goal involvements.

To top off all that, Heskey made his senior debut in the Carabao Cup, alongside his brother Jaden, and was a key figure for England at the U17s World Cup earlier this season.

So it comes as no surprise that when Heskey got another assist in City’s 5-1 PL2 win at Birmingham on Friday night, he expressed his delight in the campaign so far.

“I thought it was a good win,” began Heskey.

“We struggled at the start getting into the game getting used to the pitch and stuff.

“Once we got the hang of it and got into the game, we handled it well, played well and got the win.

“I’m enjoying my football. I’m just taking it game by game and playing as well as I can and try to [help the team] get results.”
