It was a frustrating first 45 minutes at Clayton Wood Training Centre in the Under-18s Premier League North with City going in 1-0 down.
But, following what must have been an inspirational half-time team talk, City came out to level two minutes later through Farid Alfa-Ruprecht.
What followed was sustained pressure from the visitors.
It paid off with a double in two minutes courtesy of Justin Oboavwoduo and Joel Ndala as we saw off the Potters.
The win saw us move into second in the table, behind Sunderland, who we face next weekend at the Academy of Light.
