City’s EDS youngsters got our 2020/21 campaign off to the perfect start by recording an impressive 3-0 win away at League Two Mansfield in our opening EFL Trophy Group E fixture.
Striker Liam Delap claimed a brace of goals and also provided an assist for Adrian Bernabe’s first half opener.
It was a hugely impressive display by Enzo Maresca’s young charges.
And as well as being the perfect way to start our EFL Trophy campaign it was one that also augured well ahead of this weekend’s start to the new PL2 campaign.
