City’s Elite Development Squad lifted the Premier League 2 trophy after winning the title for a third consecutive year.

The magic moment took place at the Academy Stadium following a thrilling 4-3 win over Wolves in our final home game of the season.

Brian Barry-Murphy’s side had secured the title with two games remaining, winning it style with a 3-0 victory away to Blackburn Rovers.

City legend Paul Lake presented the players with their winners’ medals before captain Shea Charles proudly held the trophy aloft.

The presentation topped off what has been a magnificent season for our Under-23s who are currently 13 points clear of their nearest rivals having scored 77 goals with our final game of the season against Arsenal remaining.
