New Man City Esports signing Joao ‘Jafonso’ Vasconcelos says he’s ready and determined to succeed in his debut campaign with the Club.

The Portuguese will compete alongside Matias Bonanno as we look to retain the ePremier League title for a record-breaking third successive season.

And in other competitions, such as the FC Pro Open and his sights set on qualifying for the eChampions League and Esports World Cup, Joao expressed his excitement to wear the City shirt with pride at as many tournaments as possible.

“I hope this season to win a few titles,” said Jafonso in his first interview with the Club.

“Of course, we want to win as many majors as possible and also the league, but we know that it’s really difficult.

“But I’m really looking to win big this year, and that is my goal.

“And also for the team, especially with a good focus on the Premier League because it’s really important for the Club.

My goal is always trying to be the best year after year. So World Championship is also a thing that I want to achieve again. So let’s try it!”
