The Argentine is swapping life in the eLaLiga Santander for the ePremier League and is excited to compete in his third different league in his already illustrious career.
The 20-year-old will be accompanied by his coach, Edu Castellano, who he has spent the past three years building a relationship with and in turn has helped them achieve league victory after being crowned the eLaLiga Santander 2023 champions.
Now, Bonanno is looking to extend his success in England.
“Thank you very much for the warm welcome, the truth is that being part of this squad is incredible,” said Bonanno when asked how he feels about joining City Esports.
“It’s one of the biggest clubs in the world and I am very happy to be here and I can’t wait to start and accomplish big things.
“I think [the move to ePremier League] is good for me because it’s a different league and I’m coming from winning the Spanish League.
“I believe this is a great challenge for me to compete in what will be the third league I’ve been in since I’ve competed in the Argentina league as well. So it means a great change and an extra motivation to be here.
“I feel very happy to enter the ePremier League, it’s a very competitive league, it’s the greatest in the world.
“So I’m looking forward to win it, and I feel eager to start and do it the best I can.”
