City kicked off Sky Sports’ first live Monday Night Football show against QPR at Maine Road amid the backdrop of cheerleaders and fireworks - the Premier League had begun!
It was also the first game for the Blues that included the no pass-back rule with the keeper not allowed to collect a deliberate pass from one of his own players.
