Barry, who’s been a Blue for more than 60 years, watched the 4-1 win from a hospitality suite after being nominated for a festive treat by his daughter, Deborah.

Despite suffering with a vision impairment since 2011, Barry has been a pillar of strength for his family, helping to raise his granddaughter after Deborah was diagnosed with cancer.

A regular at the Etihad Stadium, he arrived for the Spurs game expecting his usual matchday experience, but how wrong he was.

Greeted by Ian Brightwell, Richard Edghill and Andy Morrison, he was taken to a hospitality box where his family and friends were waiting.

On a special day there was an endless procession of former Blues wanting to meet Barry, with the likes of Colin Bell, Tony Book and Mike Summerbee stopping by for a chat and to pen an autograph, while Noel Gallagher added the finishing touch to a memorable day!
