The CityTV cameras tracked the movements of the Stockport-born youngster as he shone in midfield for 74 minutes in the first game of the US tour.
Foden is one of four youngsters in Pep Guardiola’s squad in pre-season and he took his opportunity to show City fans what he is capable of in Houston.
He was a key member of City’s U18s last season as they secured the U18s Premier League North division title, as well as reaching the FA Youth Cup final for a third year in a row.
Guardiola: Foden display ‘another level’
Fans quickly took to social media to praise the 17-year old and Foden will now be hoping to further impress Pep when the Blues face Real Madrid in Los Angeles and Spurs in Nashville.
