More than 50 youngsters visited the City Football Academy as Manchester City and Etihad Airways teamed up to develop community leaders at the third Cityzens Giving Young Leaders Summit.
The young people, from the Club’s global network of community projects, took part in a variety of on and off the pitch workshops during the weeklong visit.
Aimed at enhancing their football leadership and coaching skills, City and official partner, Etihad, helped to empower these youngsters so they can use the game to tackle societal problems in their local community.
In addition to their coaching sessions, the leaders, aged 16-30, also accessed the expertise of the City Football Group’s leadership team and delivered two hugely successful football festivals for local school children and City fans.
