CityTV catch up with Thomas Agyepong to find out how he’s getting on during his loan spell at NAC Breda.
The winger is in his second season with Dutch outfit, having helped them gain promotion to the Eredivisie in 2016/17.
Breda clinched promotion in dramatic fashion, going on an impressive late season run to go up via the playoffs and the 21-year-old saved his best performances for the season finale.
“Thomas was a very important player in the playoff finals,” explained Breda manager, Stijn Vreven.
“I was very happy because last season we worked with him. He improved and for the playoff finals, when for the first time, he was 100% fit, we get promoted.
“It was a fantastic end goal for Thomas.”
Agyepong certainly believes it’s been a fruitful loan spell and feels his game has developed as a result of his loan experience.
“I’ve realised I’ve improved a lot since signing for City to now,” he added.
“I’m very happy with myself.
“There’s still room for improvement, but from the journey where I started, I can see that I’ve improved.
“It all comes down to hard work. With the people here and with my team mates, everything is achievable.”
