The Argentine became the Club’s greatest-ever goalscorer when he bagged his 178th City goal in the 4-2 win at Napoli on Wednesday.
It took him above Eric Brook, who had held top spot in City’s scoring charts for 78 years.
Afterwards, and emotional Aguero said: “I am very happy for this moment. I am happy because the team helped support me with the City fans and the staff.
“Thank you very much for everyone. Now, I am enjoying this moment.
“I am very happy. This moment is one time.
“Napoli is a good team. Playing away in the Champions League is difficult.
“I am very happy to win and qualify to the finals.”
