Manchester City have scored an incredible 30 goals in 10 matches this season in all competitions.
It’s been a remarkable start to the campaign by Pep Guardiola’s side, who look to have one of the finest forward lines in European football.
City’s strikers often take the headlines – but their two creators, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne, have been key to their early-season form.
Silva has already registered six Premier League assists, which is more than any other player in the top flight, and in all competitions he’s set up eight goals in nine games. He’s also completed 548 passes in his seven league games this term, the fourth-highest in the division.
De Bruyne now has the highest assists-per-game ratio of any player in Premier League history that has played 50 games or more, recently overtaking Eric Cantona on the list.
He has registered four assists in nine games this season and has been directly involved in 15 goals in his past 17 Premier League appearances (3 goals, 12 assists).
To celebrate, we have put together a video showcasing both players at their creative best!
