Throwback: City v Palace 2014

We’re throwing back to December 2014 ahead of our latest fixture with Crystal Palace.

A David Silva brace and one from Yaya Toure was enough to give the home side a 3-0 win as they went joint top of the Premier League alongside Chelsea.

After a goalless first half, El Mago broke the deadlock courtesy of a Scott Dann deflection and was the Eagles’ tormentor again on the hour mark as he swept home Aleks Kolarov’s low cross.

The Ivorian sealed the victory with a powerful drive, which was the result of a quick, free-flowing City counter attack.
