The Premier League is back this weekend - and we travel to Arsenal to begin the defence of our title.
But Pep Guardiola has warned his players that maintaining last season’s standards won’t be enough to assure a repeat of last season’s triumph.
City won the league by 19 points, finishing with record goals and wins in the process.
That, Pep says, will drive our rivals on this season as they bid to catch us.
“Doing the same will not be enough,” he says. “That is my experience at Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
“Every player has his own way to decide to play the game. The manager has to decide which way we play. Every manager believes in their own way.”
