Phil Foden has done a lot of growing up on the field recently – and this week he went to the place he spent his formative years.
Phil attended Bridge Hall Primary School in Stockport as a youngster and he returned with members of the City in the Community staff to deliver a training session to the current crop of pupils.
Not only did Phil take part in the session, he also handed the pupils a ticket to see the Champions League game with Hoffenheim.
And to top it off, he handed them all Nike football boots!
It’s a day the kids will never forget.
Phil was also reunited with two of his former teachers.
