Twelve days, 3000 miles, three timezones, 20 hours per day, one painstaking challenge: the Race Across America.

In the summer of 2018, City’s Head of Sports Medicine Dr. Max Sala took on the world’s toughest bike race to raise awareness and funds for City in the Community’s One City disability programme.

Everyone at the Club and Foundation is extremely proud of Max for this phenomenal achievement and the commitment he gave to this challenge over the past three years.

All money raised will help to create new opportunities for disabled people across Greater Manchester and continue to support City in the Community’s nine disability teams.
