Last weekend, the city of Manchester was ramping up for the season’s first Manchester Derby and across the Atlantic, the Blues were buzzing too.

To mark the big match in the US, Club legend Joleon Lescott, accompanied by the Premier League and Carabao Cup trophies hit Philadelphia for a whirlwind tour of the city, ultimately holding court on Sunday for a massive City Live! watch party.

More than 600 Blues turned up to hear Lescott’s live Q&A session, meet up for trophy photos and, of course, watch City defeat United 3-1.

In the leading up to all of that, we made sure to visit some stars on the Philadelphia sports scene - first, Gritty, the runaway-star mascot of the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers; then Lescott and our mascots Moonchester and Moonbeam met up with current Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles for a training session.

Later that night, we topped things off with a visit to Villanova University - the reigning NCAA basketball champs.

Catch all the essential sights and sounds of the weekend in this wrap-up video, as City took one of the US’ biggest cities by storm...
