Last season local coaches from City in the Community in Manchester travelled to over 19 cities across the world, delivering Young Leader Training to more than 750 coaches at Cityzens Giving Projects.

Throughout the season they were lucky enough to join Official Supporters Clubs to watch their beloved Blues in action across various time zones.

One highlight included staff travelling to work with 40 coaches in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The coaches were trained to upskill them with the community work set up in Sierra Leone by passionate supporter Armani Sheku Kamara. The local coaches then delivered a memorable festival to 80 children. Kit donated and shipped by Cityzens Giving and the Reddish Supporters Club was donated to children in Freetown.

City in the Community coaches went to see the bus that was donated by the Official Supporters Clubs in 2010, led by Tony Griffiths.

Due to a recent run of bad luck, the bus which makes the club self-sustainable has fallen into disrepair.  Armani is currently fundraising to get the bus back on the road, and bring football opportunities back to City Fans across the country. If you would like to donate, please do at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/sierraleonemcfc and help to achieve his dream of making the whole country go blue.

Thanks to all the fans across the world last season!
