The Portuguese midfielder was a key cog in our well-oiled machine last month, getting on the scoresheet in the Champions League, FA Cup and Premier League against Schalke, Swansea and Fulham respectively.
He also grabbed assists in all three of those matches in a month which saw the Blues pick up five wins from five mates in all competitions.
Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan provided stiff competition, but Bernardo just pipped his teammates for his second award of the season.
