Our skipper made his 400th appearance at Bournemouth and capped his stellar display with two more Premier League assists... here are 10 of his best in sky blue...

David Silva made his 400th Manchester City appearance in the game against Bournemouth on Sunday.

It’s a remarkable achievement for the Spanish midfielder, whom many believe is the Club’s greatest ever player.

He is just the 14th player in City’s history to reach 400 games, the last of which was former captain Paul Power who went on to make 445 appearances in blue.

Since arriving in the summer of 2010, just days after becoming a World Cup winner, it’s been a glittering period of success for City.

Silva has been central to four Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups and two Community Shield victories.

His record of 83 Premier League assists and 745 chances created can’t be bettered by any other player since his arrival on these shores.

He amassed 125 caps for Spain before retiring from international football last year, winning one World Cup and two European Championships.
