And the Chilean boss also oversaw our first League Cup triumph since 1976, as we beat Sunderland 3-1 at Wembley thanks to goals from Yaya Toure, Samir Nasri and Jesus Navas.
It was a year in which we bid farewell to two men instrumental in our 2012 title, Gareth Barry and Joleon Lescott, whilst we welcomed Bacary Sagna, Fernando, Willy Caballero, Eliaqium Mangala, Frank Lampard and Wilfried Bony.
