Former City captain Vincent Kompany was honoured with a lifetime achievement award by the Football Writers’ Association, sponsored by William Hill, at the Savoy Hotel in London on Sunday evening.
Kompany was given the FWA’s special tribute award at a star-studded dinner, not only for his outstanding playing career as captain of City for a decade, but for his extensive charity work.
